Tackling migrant integration and repatriation fostering entrepreneurship

 

The Audax endeavor initiative is a set of activities aiming at cooperating with existing migrants’ social networks and organisations following a long term strategy (2012-2015), which comprises providing sustainable integration mechanisms of migrants, and the enhancement of repatriations structures and channels. Audax endeavor is developed at EU28+ level.

 

Both key activities drivers are base on the implementation of social entrepreneurship strategies, aiming at creating bridges and empowerment added-value between the involved countries. Indeed, social entrepreneurs create thriving organisations that train and employ hundreds people, generate sustainable development and revenues in an ethical way.

 

A migrant’s ability to move to a particular destination, find a job and housing, open up a business, participate in the development of their home country, and access health care is generally directly impacted by or even dependent upon migrant’s social networks, which is the reason why Audax Endeavor is integrated in such networks.
