Fostering european cooperation and sense of belonging

Exploitation of good practices

Promoting knowledge sharing and learning, the exchange of good practices is one of the first challenges carried out in a knowledge management initiative. Good practices can be considered as processes or methodologies that embody the most effective way of reaching a specific objective. These approaches are constantly evolving and being updated and have been proven to work well and produce good results, and is therefore recommended as a model.

The essence of recognizing, characterizing and sharing good practices is to learn from others and to re-use knowledge. The prime advantage consists in well developed methods based on accumulated experience.

Our programmes combine two key essentials: clear facts such as a good practices database (connecting people with information), and methods for sharing inferred knowledge such as communities of practice (connecting people with people).

Our approach for exchanging good practices is on the job activities, promoting communities and personal contacts with the participants who have used the good practice as a key to success.
