Youth forward

Readdressing youth employment through inclusive training

The Youth Forward initiative is a set of activities aiming at tackling Youth current issues within a long term strategy (2012-2015). Such issues are namely employment, active citizenship, human rights and social changes, to name but a few.

On youth employment, we are actively working and networking with practitioners, policy-makers and curriculum researchers to create innovative strategies for initial training and lifelong learning strategies, aiming at generating long-term and sustainable employment.

On education and training, we are readdressing learning concepts with inclusive and realistic approaches to provide accurate answers to the employment panorama, considering the current European context (policies and recommendations), and updated surveys and research outcomes from a variety of EU 28+ bodies.

On social change, Youth Forward aim at fostering social entrepreneurship through the development of youth initiatives from Civil Society Organizations and active citizens’ networks such as the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, The European Youth Platform, to name but a few, with a shared passion for solving environmental and social issues, aiming at generating a sustainable employment growth.
