Fostering european cooperation and sense of belonging

HORIZON EUROPA PARTNER is an informal group of organisations sharing the same values, following the same mission and sharing the same vision, yet in different sectors comprising: agriculture, tourism, energy, construction and building, transportation, cultural heritage, craft industry, information communication and technology, textile, culture and art, sports and leisure. Such organisations are not for profit bodies from the civil society arena and for profit corporations from the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises world (SME).

 

Within these sectors, our team and partners act in a variety of fields of activity: recycling, capacity building, turn-key projects, research and development, eductaion and training courses, policy analysis, to name but a few.

 

Embedded in the referred activities, we tackle a variety of issues such as communities' cohesion, intercultural dialogue, migrant integration or repatriation, ageing population and intergenerational relationships, employment, youth development, gender equality, human rights and democracy, participation in the decision-process regarding public policies, and active citizenship.

 

We observe a particular focus on Global Education considering the social change arena, as well as pedagogical and educational approaches, aiming at fostering personal development and awareness.

Our mission is to encourage and support the process of social innovation toward a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, considering the European Union 28+ arena. We provide an inclusive approach to generate innovative and reliable outcomes, creating and enhancing social values, social cohesion and inclusive development, empowering communities, based on the implementation of non formal and informal learning and training courses, workshops, seminars, learning mobilities, apprenticeships, study visits, or citizen panels.

 

Our main aim is to enhance employability and social inclusion through challenging learning programmes, innovative business models and strong international cooperation, encouraging and supporting the concept of competence capitalization between generations, engaging all relevant stakholders.

 

Our target audience comprises: a) Youngsters (18-25) from local communities; b) Youth workers (18+) in Civil Society Organisations (CSO); c) social entrepreneurs (18+). We give specific attention to gender equality and plurality, considering migrants, people with fewer opportunities, with special needs, or at risk of exclusion.
